Bernadette is a gentle giant. With some Saint Bernards tipping the scales at over 200 pounds, there is a lot to love with these friendly companions. They were originally bred to rescue lost travelers in the Swiss Alps, which was the perfect task for their insulated coats and strong bodies! Nowadays, though, most Saint Bernards are family pets, another job they are well suited for!
